STATE LEVEL POLICE RECRUITMENT BOARD, ASSAM (SLPRB) has released a notification regarding the recruitment of 44 Assistant Inspector of Excise & 159 Excise Constable post. The exam pattern & Syllabus detail is given below:

Last Date: 06 - 07 - 2020

A) Assistant Inspector of Excise

Exam Pattern:

        Mode of Test: Written (OMR Based) 

        Total No. of Question: 100

        Total Marks: 100 (1 mark each)

        Negative Marks: 1/2  marks for each wrong answer

Syllabus Detail:

There will be three parts in the question Paper:

1. Logical reasoning, aptitude, comprehension
2. Matters relating to History and Culture of Assam and India and
3. General Knowledge

B) Excise Constable

Exam Pattern:

        Mode of Test: Written (OMR Based) 

        Total No. of Question: 100

        Total Marks: 50 (1/2 mark each)

        Negative Marks: No negative marks

        Exam Duration: 2 hrs 

Syllabus Detail:

        (i) Elementary Arithmetic

        (ii) General English

        (iii) Logical reasoning/Mental ability

        (iv) Assam’s History, Geography, Polity, Economy

        (v) General Awareness/General Knowledge and current affairs
